Even with all the political bickering of every day, Kenyans put aside their differences as they contributed in kind and in deeds to help the victims of the West Gate Mall shooting. many Kenyans sent money through MPESA and Airtel Money, thousands donated blood, others food and drinks, while still many others
volunteered their skills in first aid. So far, according to Red Cross, over 25 million shillings has been raised by Kenyans of goodwill, and some people have been turned away from donating blood as their were just too many people.
