Gatundu residents protest at high cost of living.

Perhaps in a show of just how much the VAT has impacted on Kenyans, President Kenyatta's own former constituents, Gatundu, protested at the increasing living costs. They protested of the increased cost of animal feeds, plus the other dairy and animal input products. The House Majority leader, Adan Duale says
parliament will rethink of ways to exempt certain specific items, such as processed milk, from the new VAT bill.
