After the Westgate shooting incident, the national assembly speaker, Justoin Muturi, has directed the police to offer more security to parliament. This comes in the wake of yet another grenade attack in Wajir that has left one person dead. The cabinet, under President Uhuru Kenyatta, will be meeting shortly to discuss the worsening security situation in the country.
