The Siaya Governor by election is almost here, and the race is likely to be tight. According to an earlier poll which was commissioned by ODM, William Oduol was leading. However, ODM maintained that this was on the individual basis of the candidates, without taking into account the party machinery mechanism. CORD hopes to use the party machinery to lock in the win for Rasanga, whose election was nullified by the high
court. Even then, William Oduol remains a popular candidate, and it would take real hard work for the CORD machinery to beat him.
